STONE CARVING
Renowned stone mason, sculptor and Alton local, David Wilkins shares his career’s worth of expertise in this hands-on stone carving workshop in the gardens of Chawton House on
10 July.
A block of limestone and all tools will be provided. By the end of the day the attendee will have something carved by themselves to take home. All carvings will be in relief from a selection of designs and examples provided. Students will be introduced to the basic skills, techniques, safety training and design requirements.
